BALANCE YOUR ELEMENT
Managed by Guru Spa Thailand, Salinda Spa is well known for its distinctive traditional massages with signature treatments, such as the warm herbal compress or pearl massage that pays tribute to Phu Quoc Island natural ingredients and ancient Thai wellness secrets delivered by our professional Thai therapists.
It is believed that balance within and between the four main elements (fire, air, water and earth) forms the foundation for good health. We each have all of these qualities within us to some degree, but most of us favor one over the rest.
Salinda Spa invites you to harmonize your energy and inner balance by discovering your elemental nature starting from personalized welcome drink and spa consultation to wearing color-coded Thai cultural wear – sarongs throughout your spa journey.

SPA HISTORY, WHY THAI?
Discover the power of touch delivered by our Thai therapists who will awaken your sensory pleasures, beautifying and nurturing your body and mind. Below are four distinctive reasons why treatments performed by Thai therapists are important for our spa.
Cultural Heritage of the Traditional Thai Spa

Health and Wellness Benefits of Thai Spa Treatments
Thai spas offer several stages designed to calm the mind, the body and the spirit, consisting of three main concepts:
Thai Cultural Heritage – Thai spa treatments are deeply ingrained in Thai culture and has been practiced around 2,500 years as the very essence of the traditional Thai living.
Traditional Massage – Thai massage incorporates the use of the massage therapist’s palms, fingers, elbows, knees and feet to provide acupressure to the body’s ten major energy channels or “Sen” lines to restore the flow of positive energy and provide relief for strained or tightened muscles.
Herbal Remedies – While Thai massage is the most famed of the ancient curing traditions, heat therapies combined with herbal ingredients is a distinguishing trait of traditional Thai healing practices.
Health and Safety Standards
The Thai Spa Association has developed spa programs for therapists, who goes through extensive trainings to strengthen their physical body for the treatments. Fields of study have expanded to health care, hygiene and safety trainings, medical massage and alternative medical treatment. Through the development of the skilled workforce and training sessions, Salinda will be able to ensure the health, safety and quality standards of spa treatments to our guests.
