Some stories begin with a dream. Ours began with family.
Salinda takes its name from two sisters, Sandra and Linda. Two names brought together to create something that would eventually become much more than a resort.
Like many siblings, we grew up sharing memories, experiences and a bond that was uniquely ours. We may have our own personalities and perspectives, but there is something special about the connection between sisters — a sense of familiarity, belonging and understanding that stays with you through life.
When Salinda was created, that connection became part of its identity. We wanted to build a place that felt personal and welcoming, where the little things mattered and where people were cared for not simply as guests, but as individuals with their own stories.
Over time, the meaning of family grew beyond the two sisters behind the name. It became the Salinda Family — the people who bring the resort to life every day. From the warmth of a familiar greeting to the thoughtful details that make a stay memorable, it is our team who gives Salinda its heart.
Perhaps this is why we feel such a connection to the moments our guests share with us. A honeymoon, an anniversary, a family reunion or simply a holiday spent together — these are the moments that remind us how precious time with the people we love can be.
